Dr. Robert Roose
Robert Roose, MD, MPH, FASAM is currently the Chief Medical Officer/Vice President of Addiction & Recovery Services for the Sisters of Providence Health System (SPHS). He is also currently on the Quality Improvement Council of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Treatment Task Force of the Massachusetts Hospital Association, and Massachusetts Governor Baker's Opioid Addiction Working Group.
In 2012 he was named "Addiction Medicine Physician of the Year" by the New York State Department of Health's Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
Dr. Roose earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master in Public Health degrees at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington D.C.
